Ordered my new 2005 ride :)

Hey Everyone,

I'm super excited right now - just ordered my new boat, I'm so stoked. i've wanted a nautique since i got into boating and its finally happened. my old runabout is now on the market and its nautique time!!

I have gone with a 2005 super sport 210 in midnight blue with a titanium stripe.

I added on the ballast, Heater, Closed cooling, Observers seat, trailer, Perfect pass, Dual batteries and the drivers bolster seat.

The boat won't be here until eraly Feb (I'm in the UK) so i have plenty of time to practice my polishing techniques, but even so.. i'm still sick with anticipation!

anyone think of any options i missed? or think i am paying for anything i don't need? any reports on this boat?

This resoure has been great and helped me make my final decision to take the plunge; I look froward to learning as much as i can over the next few months.

Just a final note, I gotta give some props to my UK dealer 'TVski' they've been great at not only service but also friendly advice. I look forward to working with them when the boat gets here!

The Super Sport doesn't come standard with a tower. You might want to add that.

hehe, I just realised how ammature that post must look - buying a wakeboard boat with no tower!! I have that base covered with an aftermarketr tower. basically i deal in towers in the UK and a bit of Europe so rather than paying for a nautique FCT (Which i love... have to admit to being very tempted) I am adding one of my own as this boat needs to fill in a a demo boat as well as for my own personal use. so tower, tower speakers, racks and stereo will all be covered by an aftermarket custom install.

First up, big shouts to you for finally making the decision, you know you always wanted it.

Second, you know my fave phrase and that "if it ain't pimp it aint s h i t " ;-) Enjoy!! except it better not be as nice looking as mine seeing as mine is going to on the London Boat Show Correct Craft stand. :-) (I have to win the poster comp !! )

Does this mean i will have to travel to North Wales to see it or shall we have a get together somewhere more local ? :-)

If you can persuade sarah to allow for day membership i'd love to come up and stick it in Tamworth for the day - reckon its possible without signing up full time?

Otherwise its time for some ocean riding.. North wales won't know what hit it (especially once the stereos in!) :twisted:

congrats on the purchase . the wife & i just bought a 05 san 210(midnight blue & titanium also) and was going to go with a titan tower and found out a interesting point with a after market tower.

something to consider with a aftermarket tower .... if stress cracks develop where it is mounted, it isnt covered under warranty.

if i am not mistaken, only the factory installed tower carries the warranty. you might want to ask the dealer to be sure.

I'd like a shower but am under the impresion that you can't have one with closed cooling (unless you want to bath in coolant or warm salt water ) So i opted out of that one.

You can get both--I've seen postings on malibuboatowners.com which discuss a shower and heater on a closed system. I'll see if I can locate some info for you.
