Best tow vehicle I have ever had. Not sure what I will do when this thing dies since they don't make anything like it anymore. It is just about to turn over 95,000 miles, so I am hoping it will last a few more years.

I would imagine that the Land Cruiser would tow beautifully. V8 4Runner owner here.
A Frontier has a 4.0L V6. It's a very stout engine. I just got one, but haven't pulled my nautique with it yet.
I'm coming from a 1996 tacoma with a 3.4 V6. The frontier should do a lot better as it is 1000 lbs heavier with more power/torque and disc brakes all around.
I had to sell my 04 Denali and my 01 Air to get my 06 220 and my 98 burb. My question is when we take our summer vacation I have to go over some mountain passes, I know the bigger boat and smaller engine is going to be noticable, but will the burb be fine or would you select the Avalanche with newer technology? I found the cheapest-nicest burb I could so I could get the most boat for my money. We have gone to the local launch a couple times and burb seems to do fine just, not the same as the Denali!!
