2010 Toyota Sequoia Platinum. It tows great through the mountains, but the mileage is pretty brutal at about 15 mpg. I sold my wife's 2006MDX and my 2005 Sierra 1500 to consolidate into one SUV that can tow.

Just got this '08 Ram about a year ago. Tows with ease and passing on hills is no issue. Only problem is the more you put your foot in it the more gas it likes. Overall good compromise between pulling ability and fuel economy so far.

this thread has got me to looking at a duramax instead of my 5.3L z71 4x4. i really don't need a new truck, but would sure like one. my 5.3L tows like a gimped mule.

i've found some nice 2007/8 chevy duramax z71 4x4 ltz's that I could swap mine out for. i owe right about what mine is worth so it would be close to any even payment trade. not sure if i want to give mine up though.

what boat are you towing? i feel like my yukon 5.3 does a great job towing.

i have a 2008 SANTE 230. my 5.3L 4x4 gets around 8 mpg when towing and it has no power to it at all. and it only gets 15 mpg when not towing. the best gas mileage i have ever got with it was 16-17 mpg when on cruise on the highway at 60 mph.
