Is that a v6, or an inline 6 like most of the down under fords?

That appears to be the same chassis as our ford freestyle/ taurus X's. If you look at the C pillar you can see the similarity.

I like the front end of that Aussie ford better than our versions though.

We do have a twin turbo 3.5 DI V6 available on the same chassis in the ford flex ecoboost. 355hp and a lot of tq too. The best thing is it has no decrease in mpg compared to the regular non turbo 3.5 V6. If spending 42k ona new ecoboost flex didn't bother me, I would do that in a heartbeat.

Yeah we were going to buy a holden captiva which think is your chev captiva but cant tow a boat and a little cheap. We are loving our Ford, We purchased as they are no longer making the petrol turbo 6 cyclinder (straight 6) so we got one of the last of them. Instead they are going for diesel engines. Reason it is very thirsty. It is worse than my 360kw v8 sedan. We didnt buy it for the fuel side more performance and looks but yeah fuel economy is shocking round town anyway and that driving it like a nana.
In the price range thought it was by far the best truck on every aspect but fuel economy. but o well.

i didn't realize most of them are like that. i assumed since you lifted it either you or the shop forgot to raise the bumper. i wouldn't allow it though. too much gap. still a sick truck.
