SAN Back Seat Removal

Can someone tell me how to remove the back seat from my SAN? I pulled the two quick-releases on the seat frame, and expected to be able to pull the frame out. It didn't move. Also, how does the top portion of the back seat come out?

Remove the top by unscrewing the three knobs on the back and pull it out. To take out the base, remove the quick releases, you will see two screw heads near the center pull the drop-in cooler out to get to the nuts on the under side. To pull the base out without cutting anything pick up the starboard side first then work the port side up.

PS You will need a 3/8" wrench for the nuts on the under side of the base.

If you don't have to remove the seat base, don't do it. It can be a little bit of a pain.

oh yeah... what do you want to take out? the seat back comes out befor the base

I at least want to take the back off, but removing the base will also help me gain access to the area I am trying to reach.

I pull my base for yearly cleaning, and also when I did my fluid change. You want to know how loud the v-drive and trans are, try running the boat with no raer seat. You can';t even hear yourself think.

The rear comes out easy if you just take your time and be carefull.

LOL, yeah CC water test all the boats without stern seats so inspections can be made of the fuel system and engine area. Big differance when you put the interior in
