    New Platform...Maybe

Hey guys. I wish that I would have known that Nautique was going to go to colored platforms in 09' because I would have waited two more months and got a black one to match my boat on my 08'. Anyways, I have thought about ordering a black one from one of our supported dealers, but I would have no use for two platforms. So what I was going to see is if anyone was going to be ordering a new boat any time soon, that wanted a plain white with factory grey traction pad, would consider ordering a solid black platform for me. I am willing to cover all shipping cost, from you to me, and from me back to you, if I could just get one. I know it is a long shot, but short of ordering one and being stuck with two, I don't really know what else to do. If anyone has any suggestions for me please let me know! Thanks again guys!

Maybe you could sell it to a dealer. These things do get damaged, sunk, and stolen from time to time. I'm sure you could get rid of it somehow, someday.

I second that. Or at least leave it on here. I replaced mine last year due to a mishap and wish I could have gotten a used one...these things are EXPENSIVE.

Also, what boat do you have? Might help with matching...

Another suggestion would be to call CC and see if there are other Nautiques your platform will fit on. Might be able to find some one with a teak one that wants to upgrade. 211? 220?

I can't imagine the cost of ordering an after market composite one. 2K maybe.

A couple years ago teak was still the standard. If his composite will fit other boats, someone who has a used boat with a teak might be looking for a white composite.

Just looking for options of the guy.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Again, maybe someone will see this thread and need a composite white platform. I am just really wanting the black. I have some great plans for the boat this season, but I want to see if I can get the platform first. I don't know how much a platform cost brand new, but from what I remember it's about $1500, and right now that isn't an option because there is absolutely nothing wrong with the one I have except for the color. Maybe someone from a dealership or an individual will be ordering a boat soon and would be willing to switch me out. I know it's a shot in the dark, but anyting is worth a try. Maybe someone else will want to upgrade from teak like you said Crad.
