My brother and I are searching for a used (new to us) boat. We have it narrowed down to a 211. Mostly. The main reason for the 211 is we want a 21 foot boat so its easy for just a couple people to manage and usually we only go out with 3-8 people. We looked at the SAN but the little (bench) at the back of the walk through makes it easier for my bro to get in the boat (he is paralyzed). At the moment we wakeboard behind a larson senza 206 so anything with an actual wake would be much better. Price is a factor to us as we don't want outrageous paments. That puts us in a 2005-2008 range. From what i can gather there is a difference in the hulls between the years. Ive looked around a little bit and cant really seem to find some reviews on the differences. Mostly everyone likes the wake on the 210 and 211 (not too sure how much of a difference there is any info is appriciated out of my own curiosity). What i would really like to know is the difference on the wake between the years on the 211. For skiing and for boarding. Also a factor to us is the tower being able to fold down. We go out 2-3 times a week and garage it in a 7ft tandem 3 car garage. I do apologize and admit to being new to the scene. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all!

the hull on the 211 didn't change 05-08. I believe it hasn't changed at all, but 09-10 I'm not sure. As for wake diff between 210 and 211, the 210 is considered by some the ultimate wakeboarding boat. There is a real difference between these two. Unfortunately you will have to judge for yourself on the acceptability of ski and wakeboard wakes on both boats. There are several threads comparing these two boats. Generally the 211 is recreationally acceptable for all (but is rumored to have a great surfing wake). The 210 is for those that really don't want to ski and want a good wakeboard wake. But as I said, you will find opinions that differ.

I am not aware of any hull changes. They did switch the rotation of the propeller in 2007. I much prefer reverse rotation, but that is me. I can appreciaste the crawl through part of the boat for your brothers needs, and I think that is a great reason to lean towards that boat. I is a great boat for families with little kids for the same reason. You can get a great deal on those boats from 2005-06. I have sufred the 05 version and it has a great wake for it with about a 1000 lbs of extra ballast. Everything else is middles of the road for skiing and boarding. Sounds like a good fit for you guys.the WakeSlayer

I just wanted to ask you about how your brother is getting into the boat. My Dad is also paralyzed and has been since before I was even born. He used to get in the boat a lot until he had shoulder problems the last couple years. It would be really nice if I could get him back out there with us again.
As far as differences, the 210 will be different hulls from -06 and 07-. I have an 08 210 and I can compare it to the 211 as my buddy has one. My wake is wider and it is bigger with factory ballast. I think the 210 is a superior wakeboarding wake and I prefer it to the 211, but the 211 does get the job done. The 211 does put out a pretty nice wake though for a cross over boat. I do not think its hull has changed since it was introduced. If you get a lot of weight on the tower (Speakers and racks) it will increase the difficulty of putting it down/up.2010 Super Air 230
