I have the 1579 that my Boat came from the factory with (08 210) and I am about to try out a 1619 in the next few weeks. According to Bill Weeks at Acme these to props are the best they have to offer for weight and hole shot right now.

I know they make the 1235, but he said that prop would not work on the newer 210

I have heard some people on here say that the 1235 prop will not work on the newer 210's, but I was told by N3 Boatworks that that is the prop they put on all of their sacked out 210's and they haven't had any problems.

Highrock, do you not like your 1579? Is that why you are trying the 1619? I'm gonna be running a lot of weight in my new 210 and am debating on whether it is worth getting a 1235 or just sticking with the 1579 it comes with.

My dealer recommends the ACME 1465. Same as 1579, but a bit thicker if youre running in rivers with more debris.

We ran a 1235 on our 2008 210. It was great with no problems. Our set up was about 2100 pounds on top of the standard ballast. The hole shot was great while running about 3200 rpm at 23.5mph.

That is the first I have heard that about the thickness. I thought they were the same but changed the part number when they started adding them as a factory option.

I have a 1465 on mine but did have it sent out and reworked. The 1465 or 1579 do very well but I wanted just a bit more hole shot with mine. I run factory ballast plus fly high additional ballast and sometimes 100lbs extra of lead in nose.

I do like the 1579 and it does the job well when running the extra ballast. I asked Acme and then looked online and actually found someone with the 1619 that was looking for the 1579 (I really have no clue why other than he said it was too much prop for him, but it was an extra he has)

I get better mileage with mine running the 1465 over the stock prop (I think it was a 645). The boat gets on plane a lot quicker which is easier on the engine as well.

I was at one of the Byerly Bus Tour stops last year and took my boat to have the engine cover autographed. Well needles to say Scott didn't make it to that particular stop, but a couple of guys from his team where there and it was a good thing I had brought the boat. The guy driving Scott's Icon Edition accidentally wrapped a line around the prop and damaged the seal on the shaft where the shaft runs through the strut. We pulled his boat out and I donated mine to use for the day. There was 11+ people in the boat all day and we ran all the ballast including the additional fly high system (BTW the wake was off the hook). The prop did excellent on the hole shot. We ran the boat all day with everyone riding once, some rode twice and it used only $70.00 worth of gas. I have the ex343 engine.

BTW the Hyperlite rep did pay for the fuel and took two of my Byerly boards with him, had Scott sign them then shipped them back to me.
It was the best experience I have had to date riding with some pros! His team are a great group of guys.

FWIW re: fuel consumption, on my 2008 210 I run a 1579, stock ballast plus approximately 900-950 pounds of additional ballast for a total of 1700-1800 lbs of ballast. We usually ride with 3-4 people in the boat.

When I first got the boat, I was curious so I checked fuel consumption every time for the first 10 uses or so.

I generally burn right at 2-2.2 gal per set....obviously set duration depends on the rider, but I get the gal/set number by dividing gallons used by number of sets each time out, so it all averages out. I ride with a lot of different folks...from beginners to sponsored...and I'm guessing that our typical set is pretty typical for most crews.

If we start right off the launch ramp, I've seen the number as low as 1.85 gal/set....usually we have a 10-15 minute drive up one of the lake arms and, if that is the case, I'm closer to 2.25 gal/set.

I don't know how that differs from a 645. When I was choosing a prop, the folks at Acme told me the 1579 would use less gas loaded with ballast and more gas just cruising around unloaded.

                      Hey Latonkaboarder,
Just curious on how you reworked your prop. We run the 1465 but still find it struggles a bit to get on the plane when fully loaded (2000 pounds over standard + people) who done the work and what did they change. Thinking of maybe trying the 1235 or 1619. We have the ex 330

I sent the prop back to Acme. First I called them and talked to Bill.I too thought my 1465 was struggling a bit when fully loaded and was thinking of purchasing another prop. I really didn't want to spend the coin on another prop though at that time. Bill told me he could take some cup out of the prop to give it a little more holeshot. i think I paid about $75.00 to get it done. I had this done during the middle of summer. I sent the prop out 2nd day air, Bill had his guys make the repairs the day they received it and shipped it back out to me 2nd day air. I couldn't have been happier with it since and saved quite a bit by not purchasing another prop.

jpnaut, I think if you have done what I did you too will notice a big difference and be happy with the prop. I bought my 1465 with my 07 and just kept the prop when I got my 08.

                          Prop question

                          Hey Guys,

We just got our first boat... thank the water gods. 2007 Air 210TE. We just had a little prop incident with some rocks... good boating times. The original PROP was on there which was a ACME 645. I talked to ACME and they said a ACME 357 or a ACME 645 is the best props for the Air 210. I am just a bit confused as the 357 is a prop that I know a lot of people use on Supras and such but I have not heard anybody mention it here.

Do you know if it matters what engine you have in the boat? We have that ZR6 with 375 horse. And we wakeboard and wakesurf... really getting into wakesurfing.

                          Any help would be great.

Should I get this 1465 over the stock as well... is it just a little bigger and does that just give you a little more pull out of the pocket...?

                          Thanks

Hope you are all well. The sun is out here finally!

I have a 2007 210 came with the ACME 645 Prop. Ordered a new prop ACME 1235 thru N3 Boatworks, I have 2100 lbs ballast and it works great.

Is that right that the stock prop isn't the same for the sante 210 and the san 210? What are the different stock prop models?
