Trailer question

I have a 2002 super sport (coverted into a super air) with a single axle trailer. I am looking to buy a used double axle traler (trading the single + cash). I was wondering if: 1) the DD and the V-drive trailer configurations are the same (I would think so, but this is the place to ask for sure), 2) Wha-at year/model boat trailers would be interchangable, and 3) Anyone have any leads?

Typically the axle position is different between a DD and VD to properly balance the tongue weight. Depending on who built the trailer it might have axles that are bolted on (I know some Karavan trailers do) and thus movable but many are welded in place.

Sold my boat to buy a house, the house is much less fun.
