On a more serious note, awesome! Sounds like the coolest '05 I've heard of so far! You'll love the ZR6--duhh... and for the lights, if you wanna get that large-diameter-round look that the speakers will have that most compnaies dont' offer, you may wanna look into getting some PIAAs and getting them mounted on the tower w/o a bar. We were going to do that until it came down to the price and the person who would install it hadn't even heard of a Ski Boat before. They may look cool and definately overpower the speakers!

Ummm, are they aluminum, magnesium, or an alloy (aluminum and magnesium) ? Never heard of an "aluminum mag" wheel before.

cdm igt will be a nice package also what type of equalizer did you order? and will the dealer set this up for you or are you going to do it yourself?

didn't pick out the eq yet. The dealer has been very helpful.. they are ordering the speakers and amps and EQ (when I pick one) and will be installing it at the dealership. They included everything in my quote. very reasonable installation price too. few hundred bucks for everything... Any suggestions on EQ or another device to control the tower speakers seperate from the boat speakers?

I ordered a 2005 SV211 team with the ZR6 a few weeks ago and picked a very similar color scheme (Midnight Blue vs. your Black). I wanted it your way but my Wife only had two conditions. Color was one of them.... What made you go for the ZR6? Also be sure to post what EQ you go with. I assume your getting it so you can pipe sound/power to the tower when desired?

Thats right. I will need to control the tower speakers seperate.. Those NVS 1010's are wicked!! Or thats what I hear!

I went with the ZR6 because I will be weighting the crap out of this boat! Close to 3000 lbs ballast. I thought the boat would need the extra power. Don't you think!!

I agree! I am selling a performance jet boat in favor of the 210 and didn't want to give up too much power, hence the ZR6. Plus the closed cooling works out well as I plan on using the boat in salt water 30% or so.

As for the EQ, the boat I test drove/rode in had an EQ mounted under the dash to control power/sound to the tower. It worked awesome! When the EQ pushed to the Tower only the rider could enjoy music and those in the boat could still carry on a conversation without yelling. And your right about NVS's. I've heard them and was impressed with the sound.
