Cheers guys... we are really happy with the colors, it is defiantely different to our original request of all white, but it works quite well with everything we are getting.

The new polished tower should look great with the Alpha tower speakers. The pods are gloss black with chrome ends. The bimini will be black (naturally).

I had saved the Image dynamics form our last boat. We had three of them running in a custom enclosure in the front of a closed bow response. I have not yet sampled a sub that performs that well & sounds as crisp!

Our dealer is in Florida at the moment visiting the factory & saw the boat just before it was loaded up for shipping. He likes it a lot and tried to convince me to wait for the all white one... I reckon he wanted it for his own (don't blame him, as intially it was for his own demo boat).

    Steve

    Cheers

This is my first time working with a Nautique so am fairly excited... have done installs on a variety of malibu's but never any kind of Natique...

I will be spending some time with my dealer when he returns going over the boat to see what space is available... I would like it fullty integrated with the rest of the boat, but do not want to waste my time with teh std CC sub enclosure as found on the teams... have been told they are not up to scratch.

I will be sure to post photos of teh finished installation... will be prototyping the enclosure on the dealers existing boat.

Will there be any difference in measurements between and 04 team & an 05 LE? I would not think so... but some clarifiaction would be handy.

are you going custom fiberglass or wood ? please do post pics when done...

i just bought a 211 sv team edition ( had the stock system pulled) and i am going with image dynamic chameleaon speakers ( 3 pairs ) and 2 idq 12's (all powered by jl audio amps - 1 500/1 and 3-300/2's)

            That sounds nice!!!

I would love to do something like that but the funds are now well and truly spent & I busted our intial budget a long time ago, right about the time we started looking at a Nautique...

I am considering a couple of options... I have a friend who does amazing things with perspex so he is going to look at a prototype box once I have the measurements... it should work in well with the light system I will be installing as well... will be integrating some nice LED & UV lights, just for a bit of cool factor.

              perspex - acrylic ????

that is a great idea... very solid and rigid.. can also clor match the boat...

mind if i ask what thickness and how much does a box like that go for ?

              thanks,

              mike

Not sure what Perspex is actually made out of... probably best described as a super dense & rigid clear plastic.

I will be getting it at mates rates so probably a case of beer & a set behind the boat...

I would say that it would probably use a thickness of about 7mm, but again, I am not sure, I will go with what the experts recommend.

                    Brownie,

How much cheaper do you want it... a case of beer and set behind the boat... thats what I call a bargain.

Once I have the measurements I will take to him to see what he can do, if it is possible, then I am sure I can get him to make you one as well...

We can talk about that later over a few cans...

                    Steve

Don't look at it too much, it'll take away from the thrill of actually seeing yours in person for the first time! You should start looking at some really crappy Nautiques and boats so yours seems that much cooler when you get it!
