Best advise for installing NEW style raised letter graphics.

I will be installing the new style raised letter "AIR NAUTIQUE" graphics (part # 80075, nautiqueparts.com). They are not cheap so the first time has to be done right. I have installed many flat style vinyl graphics where you can use a solution of windex or soapy water and a squeegy but I do think that will work for these bubble letters.
Any suggestions from PN members with experience installing these decals?

    Thanks,

    Keith

There should be no reason to use a water solution, water soap solutions are to eliminate small bubbles that will not show with the raised lettering. Just be sure the surface is clean and the graphic is positioned exactly where you want it. peel and stick.

Any new advice on this topic? Anyone know how Nautique installs the thick side logos in perfect position? I may need to replace an entire "super air nautique" logo on the side of our boat. How can you get it all positioned perfectly? Can you use the spray water solution to get them to move around easily, then they still stick when it dries like the old regular sticker style decals do?

I did mine this way. Didn’t use any solution. I did the entire super air antique down my side.

I used painters tape and taped just above the old graphic and just under following the entire words down the boat. This gave me a straight line to follow right down the entire length of the boat. While the decal comes in a long strip I cut about 4-5 letter intervals.
