210 versus a 230 or236

Currently we have a 07 211 Team and are considering going to an older 196 and a 230

We want the 196 for the skiing and the 230 for the younger generation who want to wakeboard which will be our primary boat.

I am considering the 230 over a 210 mainly for the bigger water cruising and like the extra room in the boat.

I have been hold the 236 is the same hull as the 230 but have also been advised there are differences when it comes to wakeboarding behind one or the other. Are they identical as far as the wakeboarding experience? Is it just the interior layout that is different?

Has anybody done the same or have any comments about the idea

The 230 and 236 are the same boat. The only difference is the vinyl patterns. The only thing they wont do well is ski. It sounds like you have that covered. You will love ether one I would go for the 6L engine option.

Comparing the 210 to the 230 or 236, from owning both and experience, they are completely different except for the wake . The 210 doesn't drive as nice when heavy weighted,I can't even tell I have 2500 over standard ballast on the 230 but the 210 you know. also on open ruff water the 230 rides smoother . The extra space is nice if you have a big crowd. my 2 cents.
