I wanted to keep my brand new carpet looking that way so I removed the whole carpet.I then got some foam panels about 1/2 thick. They are greyish in color. I cut each one so that when hooked they cover the same areas that the original carpet covered.I have included some pics of the install.I think it will be a great alternative to the carpet and it's super soft on your feet.My friend who owns a 230 asked me to make him one at the same time I made mine. Then he goes out and buys a new crest carpet. So now I have two.If some one would like to buy one I will sell it for $130.I know it will fit in a 230 or 236.If the carpet pattern is the same for a 210 it will also fit in one of those.drop me PM if your interested.

I got the foam panels from lowes.Up here they are around $20.00 for a pack of four.It takes 10 panels, eleven if you would want to cover the total area under the drivers seat.Since you can't really step there I did not cover it.I plan on getting some snaps and hopefully using those to hold the ski locker, drivers well and bow piece in place. If that does not work maybe just some double sided velcro. The main cabin piece is keyed in place very well so I feel it will stay in place just fine.

That is an awsome idea and the fitting looks perfect. I think that I'll make a set for my boat for trips to Lake Powell. There is so much fine red sand/silt there that is so hard to get off everyone's feet and it then is hard to get out of the carpet. Thanks for sharing.

A very interesting idea. I have a couple of these pads at home. I may try one out to see if I like the feel. I was considering having my entire boat recarpeted, but $80 sounds a lot better than $1200.Now

While I do not quite understand the motivation behind this on a new boat, it does look decent and probably feels great on the feet. A local guy presented something similar but a lot more expensive to a buddy for his 211.the WakeSlayer

Very cool idea! I'd probably use a lighter color down here so it doesnt burn my feet.
We use those tiles for trade shows. They work very well if you have to stand on your feet all day.Promo Team member
