Whats up with Zero Off?

I am thinking of upgrading our PP to ZO.

However, when I just visited the ZO site, there has been no "news" since April 1, 2009, the last software release is April 1, 2009 (Rev Q) and they don't have any info on the 2010 versions of the head units.

Are they still in business or do they just have a lazy web-master?

Do some research on this site before you do. Not everyone here is a fan. I think it's more a wakeboard problem, but I'm sure someone else here can fill you in more.

Thanks - I have been following the various threads and that is what prompted my question. I thought that given these issues, they would be coming out with an updated version (Rev R) that attempted to deal with the porpoising and or high ballast loads etc.

What year is your boat? It MUST have an eControls ECU, which became standard mid-year in the 2007 model year. If you do not have an eControls ECU, you'll have to replace your current ECU in order to use ZO. If your boat is not DBW, you simply cannot use ZO without MAJOR modifications and expense.

Call ZO. They just haven't updated their webpage. Keep in mind that Q is the base code and then there are different revisions that get folded in as they make running changes. Like the new revision to deal with the porpoising and antenna change. When they get to the point that they need to change the base code to change the gains or bandwidth of the pull or to add feature content, I'm sure they'll bring out another base code letter.

Jeff, thanks for the reminder - Its a late model '07 211TE, so I think I should be fine. If not, its stargazer for me.

I only really need it for wakesurfing, as we have been unable to calibrate PP at all 3 speeds we use (i.e. 9mph for surfing, 20 mph for wakeboarding and 30 for slalom), so we generally set it for 20mph and use RPM mode for the other speeds.
