I hate to say it but if you are having issues with a dealership before you even buy a boat from them, I would say walk away from them. Although I swear 100% that CC is the best boat, I would tell someone to walk away from one if the dealer was of no help. This should be a smooth, fun and exciting time for you. Not a nagging headache. If you do get out in one and decide to buy one, I along with many others on this site would be more than willing to help you answer any questions that you have. Have you considered writing a letter to West Coast Correct Craft or Correct Craft themselves? (Isn't petaluma in California or am I way off?) Maybe these guys need to know how sad this dealerships customer service is?

The dealer in Petaluma in about 150 miles away and he did contact me via email and said I should buy from my local dealer, or call the owner personally. Ya do that and buy a boat there , that would be a great way to start off a relationship !! These boat dealers need more competition like us in the auto industry and that would humble them.

They do have territorial limits that they have to follow. There aren't enough people buying boats to open the market up like they do with cars. If that is the case, I would contact your closest dealer and see what he/she has to say.

The local dealer 12 miles away is the one that could'nt get the boat out to demo .If he calls me i'll go out , but I won't call him.

I'd call the dealer again; there are two sides to everything. Maybe they are just having a really bad week and getting slammed, or maybe they just goofed up. They’re human too.

If you still get no response or get the brush off, I’d call the other dealer and explain the circumstances and see if they would be willing to work with you. (Unless you consider 150 miles too far to even consider them.)

If not, I’d definitely go the VLX route. Odds are you are going to need assistance at some point after the boat purchase. If you are receiving poor service prior to the sale, I can’t imagine it would get any better after the sale. And it isn’t like the VLX is an inferior product. Those are very nice boats, and odds are you’re going to be happy with whatever your final selection is.

If you go there talk to Chris Steppe and tell him Todd sent you down there..........tell him you want a deal! He will take you out in a 210, he did for me. He is very cool. I would call and make sure he is there before you drive over there...........209-465-5801.

I was hoping to get a call from Rancho , at least to say no we can't get you out Saturday but Monday would work? Gezzzz. Called down to Stockton and left a message for Chris Steppe. Hopefully this can be taken care of and for my frustrations I will expect a nice savings . Found an 04 team with 37hrs and the zr6 motor for $54k, but its 2 states away . I just want to spend $60k :shock:
