Trying to get the biggest wake possible in 08 210

seriously. please try this. go put 1100lbs in the bow. then put 400 on each side in the rear, and 400+ on the floor. if you don't like that i don't know what to tell ya. just be careful if you have a few folks with you when you stop so you don't nose dive

so most of my sacs with be piggybacked
il have 650 under the floor in nose
then il put a 500 lbs sac on top
then400lbs either side of engine plumbed
and i have a 500lbs to put on the floor
where on the floor do i put it?
closer to the back or front?

remember to have more weight in the rear. The SAN Likes more weight in the back. The VLX like more weight in the bow. So your distribution should be around 60% in the back and 40% in the bow.
The sacs on floor should be towards the back against the rear middle seat.
I guarantee your wake will be much steeper than the VLX's wake once you get it dialed.

well at the moment
im running 400lbs in each rear locker
and 500lbs in nose and 500lbs in walkway
but i want the wake to be steap
its really rampy but has no kick

I agree with migs -- if i take your numbers and divide the walkway 500# equally, you are a little nose heavy 42 / 58. Why not just try scooting the walkway 500 aft a little bit and see how the wake reacts.

I don't think anyone asked this, but I have read posts saying that if you're runninf in shallow water it could have a negativer effect on the size of the wake. I hope that doesn't apply.

yer but i know that if i ditch the 500 in the walkway it will bounce like crazy!
mayby putting the 500 down the back will make it better but i will try it out tomoro.
still waiting for my fly high intergrated nose sack so hopefully it turns up in the next day or two..
if this works i will be soo pumped, and will forget about buying a new boat.

With 3 people(2 in boat. 1 riding). We have the stock (900) full, plus the two 400's in the back, plus the bow sac, plus two 750's on the floor. We subtract water as we add people. No complaints with the wake yet.

I am not 100% on the 750's, but they are for sure 600's. They are the old Phat Budde sacs. My friend tells me they are 750, but when i measure and do the math it comes out at 600.

depending on how many people are in the boat i like to put the floor sac parallel to the rear seat, but sometimes i have it running up towards the bow from the back seat. i wakeskate alot so i just put my shoes on either side to keep the sac from rolling around. you certainly don't need weight to learn tricks(most of them) and smaller wakes are more beneficial to riding correctly, but we all know monster sized wakes are fun so good luck. just don't go too far past your limits b/c you'll be going pretty fast and be getting shot into the air like the atlantis shuttle.

Nothing like hearing someone complain about a $60k boat! Seriously, if you can't get the wake dialed on a boat like this enough to enjoy riding, then it might be time to consider a new sport.

If Byerly could throw crow-mobe's behind an outboard on a skurfer in the 90's, then how could your boat be soo terrible?!

Sorry to gripe on ya, but the "buy a new boat" comment was the last straw in my book....quit being a spoiled brat and enjoy the fact that you 1) have a boat 2) are physically still capable of riding and 3) that anyone would give your whiny *** a pull

you could be stuck with a clapped out 90's Direct Drive like me after all....matter of fact, I'll trade with ya...no-one's ever complained bout my wake

sephmu-quit being a hater. we all wish we had a new boat, but don't get in someone's face b/c he can't figure his new one out yet. personally i want my 05' with a reconfigured interior, and a coastal edition engine/parts, and jabsco pumps rather than anything newer. enjoy what you have and make the best of it. but yes, back in the day pro's were throwing switch back mobes w/ ski poles and slalom ropes an awful board/boot setups, but that was a long time ago.

IT'S NOT! ya it's rideable, but at shorter rope lengths and slower speeds. aside from those who own 196 and 200's, this is wakeboarding fellas. for years riders have strived to get the biggest, best shaped wakes they can. if you aren't adding extra weight you are wasting your boat's potential.

i dont know u, but im 16 and already have plenty of tricks in the bag, im not talking stuff.
i go to a wakeboarding school every 3 weeks for 2 days,its not what im doing wrong its the wake thats wrong.
