just another tidbit>most wake boats are purchased mainly for a child who loves the sport and/or water. often the family is into it also, but the $ comes from this group. if parents weren't buying boats for kids the sport would die.

It really is sad that this youngster has to deal with such terrible riding conditions all the time....my apologies
Hourglass, you're also right, no boats would be sold unless kids wakeboarded. I just wonder how Correct Craft has continued to be an industry leader "since 1925", seeing as how wakeboarding is only a couple decades old...

well buddy, i said the sport, referring to wakeboarding. i know older guys and gals wakeboard too and have wake boats, but come on now. getting your kids to be nautique lovers is what keeps people into buying them. and i can guarantee you that everyone at correct craft does not care if the boat is purchased for a kid or for an adult. i can't stand people that act like parents who have done well enough to spoil their kids somehow do something wrong when giving them something to make there lives' that much more enjoyable. if this kid was into hockey i'm sure his parents would buy him skates and pads and a stick. spoil your kids, just don't let them be brats about it.

16 year old kid griping about his expensive boat, par for course. Sorry for upsetting all of you with my comments
Just appreciate what you have because it can disappear before you know it, was my original point!

wake is a rich man's sport. sorry to say it, but it's the truth. slaloming is also a rich man's sport, but the boats are less so the ease of entry is slightly better. the only person i know that has gone actually professional without their own boat is andrew adkison. he just did what he had to do to ride. envy is bad the way it manifests itself sometimes.

Waketherapy I honestly think you are going way overboard with thinking you need a bigger wake. In the thread below you say you have just learned your first couple of inverts and basic spins.
http://www.wake.com.au/modules.php?n...24283&start=50
The ammount of weight you are putting in your boat is approaching pro level. It's way more than you need for the the basic moves you are doing and you are writing as if you need a bigger wake because yours is holding you back?
It's great that you are keen to progress, but I really think a bigger wake is the last thing you need at the level you are at.
Having said all that I agree with some of the others that you are loading it a bit front heavy if you want a steep wake. Also you said 'my gates down and wat not' however I assume you know pulling the lever back moves the gate up and gives a steeper wake?2012 210TE + ZR6 + NSS + Clarion Sponsorship = Good times
