2007 210 Boat Cover

Hi,
I am new to the board and look forward to sharing info !

Does anyone have a boat cover which covers the entire tower ? The cover that came with my boat is not an outdoor cover (moisture gets through easily) so I am thinking about have a sunbrella (or other outdoor fabric) cover made. I figured while as I was it I would have it made so it covers the tower and tower speakers. Any experience with fabrics or outdoor use / costs would be appreciated.

the guy that makes the best mooring with no snaps is in washington ,i phone him for a cover for our 196 the price was 750.00 maybe he makes speaker covers aswell. if you scroll through the dis.board you will locate his num.good luck.

With all the rain we've had here over the last two summers, plus the strong winds this year, I can say that I've become somewhat of an expert on this topic!!

Anyhow, I would not recommend using a cover that goes over the tower. The wind would catch in it and probably carry your boat along with the dock to your neighbour's place.

Sunbrella material is perfect. What will make the difference between taking water and not, is how well the covers have been fitted - in other words to prevent that water pockets form by haveing a nice tight fit. And that all depends on how good the person making the covers is. As far as your speakers go, just get him to make you little covers that wrap around the speakers only.
