How do you tell your boat spec.?

I've recently purchased a 2003 SAN. I believe it to be a Team Edition, but how do you actually tell.? The boat has no decals at all except for the "NAUTIQUE" stern decal.

It has all the listed standard Team options plus a few extras. However it doesn't seem to have the standard dual battery.? Jump seat is also missing, but that could easilly be removed or not taken from new.

I cannot tell if it had the standard kicker audio package as all audio has been replaced. It does look like a factory amp mounting location was installed up under the observer seat (under the glove box)

It doesn't have wedge tanks by the looks - they are flat on top.? They are definately smaller than the 06 wedge tanks I've seen, but the option list indicates you could select small or large rear tanks.

It does have all other team edition options.

I don't know if it makes a differnece, but it's the all black 2003. Black deck & black hull, no stripes etc.

The SE to LE question is a little easier unless you can special order a keyed ignition on an LE. SE will have a keyed ignition. LE has touch pad coded ignition.

First of all, every Correct Craft from this time period was custom made, and you could order whatever you wanted. If you wanted a SuperSport, with a Tower and tanks, you could order it that way, and you could order a SuperAir without tanks, if you desired.
In the late nineties, a "Signature Edition" was actually signed by a team Nautique factory rider, or skier.
2000 introduced the digital switching, and the Digital Teleflex gauges.
In model year 2002, the "Signature Edition" was reintroduced with a keyed ignition, and actual switches to control lights, blower, bilge pumps, ballast pumps, and other accessories. The Limited, and Team editions had the digital switching, and more importantly, the gateway box that converts the input information from the engine to serial data that the digital gauges use.
So, if the boat you are looking at had a key switch, you have a boat that left the factory as the low cost model, the Signature Edition.
But your key is probably still working fine, with no problems, and so are your switches. The same cannot be said about the digital keypad on the Team Edition boats.
At the beginning of Model year 2002, you could also still get the Ford GT-40 engine. In my opinion, that is a more desirable engine than the GM engines offered at the time, with the possible exception of the Python engine

well the 03 keyless system & gauges is shared as standard on both the Limited & Team models.

I guess I'll just contact correct craft & ask them.

If I recall, CC did not market a team edition in 03, and they did not put "team edition" stickers on the boats.

They introduced Team edition in 02. Then in 03, again, if I recall correctly, they tried to rebrand
the boats. The SAN became "Air Nautique 210." That didn't work out so well, and they were back to calling them
SANs, and team edition by 04.

I don't know if you could order a "team edition" in 03, but that's what I recall about the marketing.

No, they did have Signature, Limited, and Team editions in 2003. I had a 2003 SAN Team Edition.

Yes, I too have an 03 SAN210 team edition, rear wedge tanks, center tank, upgraded kicker stereo (which I have since completely redon) keyless ignition, etc.
