I have a 1995 196 and the plate where the serial number etc is on the trailer is completely faded. Does anyone here know how I can find the GVWR, the GAWR and tire pressure information?
I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.
If we can be of service to you, please contact us anytime!
The tire pressure ratings are on the tires Depending on the load rating C, D etc., the load at max inflation is on each tire. As for the Gross vehicle weight a dual axle trailer weights about 1100 lbs. My 2000SN wet on the trailer weight 4000lbs. Hope this helps.
If so, which I believe it's the only trailer that Nautique made recently (read in the past 20 years or so) the tooling is actually from Ramlin. Nautique now has the trailers made locally by Dorsey, or whomever is local to the dealer. I can look on mine when I get home, but it's probably the same if it's that model, or at least very similar... Why are you inquiring? Tire pressure is specific to the tire, but as far as weight and whatnot then you may need to have it weighed. I had to drop my boat, take the trailer to a place with a giant scale, unhook, weigh the trailer, then go back and pick up my boat, which was floating in the lake... (as boats tend to do) in order to get tags for it.
When they told me I had to weigh it I first did all that with the boat on it, which I found out later was incorrect. You only need the trailer weight. As far as what it weighs with the boat on it, I have no idea, since we have different boats. Let me know what you're looking for and perhaps I can help.

I'm importing the trailer into Canada and I need to basically transfer all the information that is on the serial number label on the trailer, to the import form. I called Correct Craft a couple of times since last week but have yet to get a call back so I'm trying here. From your picture and information, I'm pretty sure it's the same trailer and if you don't mind, I would greatly appreciate the info from your trailer.
Correct Craft made trailers through 1995. After that the tooling went to Ramlin, who is also Florida . Often times dealers whom are far away prefer to ship just the boats, and put them on locally made trailers. I wouldn't use 1989 information as they are made differently
