What would you pay 2003 SANTE

I am looking at a Black and white SANTE 2003 with PCM motor 487hrs. Single axle trailer, no tower speakers. Every option a Team has. I would rate the boat a 8.5 out of 10.

I don't have any pictures but looking to buy this weekend. I was wondering what was a good price to pay.

He wont budge from 28k, I offered 27k. I Don't know if I should hold out or show up with 27k. The unfortunate thing is it's 400 miles away from me.

I wouldnt budge either. My 03 has 170hrs and wouldnt let it go for 30. Just depends on the shape of the boat you are looking at is in. The up-grades from 02 to 03 are crazy and there are 02 selling for 27. Not saying your offer was bad because i havent seen the boat. Hope you end up in one soon!!

Tell him that you will come get it this weekend at your price. Let him think about it for a few days...I think he will come down a grand. If not, keep looking. The right boat will show up.

I told him I can only offer 27k. If he denies it oh well. Thanks for the advice.

I sent you over a long-winded PM with a bunch of info. Hope it helps. The '03 SANTE is an awesome year, probably the best value of that hull life, just my $0.02. But stick to your budget and be prepared to walk away...don't fall in love until she's in your driveway. Good luck!

if its how you describe, i'd say it probably is worth $28. but, i couldnt blame you for sticking to $27 ... just depends on how bad you want it. good luck

Offer him $28K if its how he's represented it with no suprises, AND HE DELIVERS!!! That way when he shows and a few little things arent right, you have the leverage of him driving all the way out with the option to take it back if he doesnt negotiate.

I personally wouldn't be haggling over $1000, unless there is a real reason you can't pay the extra. I would rather him feel good about the transaction and then be able to call and ask questions later. $3-5K, yeah, but not one.

$28k sounds fair...not a steal, but fair for both sides.

I would have a hard time walking away over $1,000, if it's the right boat for me. In the grand scheme, the inventory of used CC's out there is pretty limited, so nab a nice one when you can.

Personally I wouldn't make any offer without seeing the boat in person. Pictures can give you a good idea but the right number for the boat will come from physically seeing it. Just my .02

I have a 03 and paid 30K last summer (I feel I got a good deal). I agree with what everyone has said. It sounds like its worth 28K and wouldn’t kill the deal over 1K if it’s in good shape. IMO, 03 is the best year for that hull. I definitely would not buy sight unseen though.
