    Another 210 Ballast Question

For 2005 SANTE what ballast pumps are they using? Jebsco rev. pumps or seperate fill and empty pumps. Also if you look at the correctcraft website, boats, 210 air, specifications, owner manual. go to page 5-6. a bit under 2/3 of the page. see Section 5 210 and 226 Air. Is this really how they are installing the ballast system? seperate fill/drain pumps and 2 through hulls? Please advise!!!! I thought my dealer said they went to rev. jebsco pumps. Anyone have the plans? I hope this is not how they designed this ballast system! Thanks in advance!!

Im still not sure about this helm control thing either. THere are valves that control water in and out of tanks, seperate from the main on off ball valve but they gradually fill when empty while moving. Whats the advantage? Why not bypass the valves by engineering a better system? something that doesn't require manual valves. I want the main on off ball valve to be end all and the system to work efficiently on its own... I don't believe that is the case..

To my knowledge, the ballast system hasn't changed. There is a fill pump and an empty pump. There should be a total of three thru hull fittings (1 for each tank). Those manuals have been known to have some serious typos in them.
I don't have a great explanation but the helm controls will stop about 90-95% of the water from coming in. Not sure of their reasoning for this but I am sure that someone in R&D has a good explanation for this.
