    08 210 or new 09 230

    What would you do?
If you could get a NEW 09 230 Team for 65K, or a used (Like new, 26 hrs) 08 210 Team for 52K, similar options. Both have tandem trailers, 08' is like new.
I board and wake surf. I really like the 230, but just don't know if I can justify the extra 13K plus another 750 in tax.....

    Dilemmas!

Think about this... you'd put 25 hours on the new one in about a week, at which point you may question if those hours were worth $13k.

Thanks SWC. I totally am with ya. I just have to decide between the two. I have never had the opportunity to get a new one like I have now, and it sounds nice to be able to not have to pay anything for 5 years, if I have a problem. The 08 will transfer warranty (for about 500.00) but it only covers parts (about 3 years left).

      Thanks again for the input

And the 230 has some nice extra room.... But is it worth 13k??? That is the question only I can answer.

I bought my '06 with 18 hours on it, being a dealer demo, and saved a pile of money. I sold it last summer for $2k more than I paid for it! It's hard not taking advantage of a sweet deal.

You can buy a lot of gear and gas for $13k. At $3/gallon, you can buy 4,333 gallons of gas for $13k.
That is 173 tanks full of gas in a 25 gallon tank.

If you need the extra space, I'd say your decision is made for you. If you don't, I'd say your decision is made for you.

i'm with Chexi. it all comes down to size and space. get the 230 if you want the extra space. both boats are sick. i doubt you'll even notice the 26 hours that are already on it.

do both the boats have the same engine? which one? a 230 with the 6.0L might have a better resale value that a 230 with the 343.

do they have the same options? remember, you can always add tower speakers and amps. the stock ones are probably a tad expensive when compared to what you get.

The 230 is my favorite boat but it cant make a ski wake. So if cost is not a problem and you want to ski go with the 210 if you dont go for the 230.
