    weighting a 07 onwards 210

    hey guys,

just wanting to know how people are weighting their 210s? i know there is numerous threads about how to and how not to and everything. But i would thought i would start a new 1 and get each persons opinion on the best way. We normally put 250 kgs in each back locker, 250kgs in the walkway bias towards the front and another 250 kgs across the bow, ontop of stock! the wake is nice but still our boat will porpoise pretty easily, and the wake is not as lippy as i would have thought, still has a nice shape but really is quite mellow? if we are to put more weight toward the rear or even empty some of the front ballast tank the boat will porpoise heaps more! we have had updates to the zero off so is it maybe time for a puck/receiver update? considering it is weighted evenly it shouldnt porpoising! what are yours thoughts?

    any help is appreciated

Get ready to get as many different responses as there are riders. Here's my setup:

I'm 40 and I'm recovering from a torn ACL injury from 2 years ago (I didn't ride in .08 and '09). I just got a 08 210 and so far this year I put about 26 hours on it.

I'm riding with full stock ballast @ 22 MPH @ 70 ft. Nothing else besides the passengers (rarely more than two ppl). This will shock most people, but I actually have to hold back so not to land way out into the flats (very painful when you are recovering from knee injury). And I'm getting plenty of height. I don't see why I would want a bigger wake.

Yeah I could go faster, heavier and longer, but I want to be riding still 10 years from now. I believe that past a certain point, proper technique is a better investment that fat sacs.
