Something does have a bearing on this discussion now that you've brought it up is these ski shows and clubs. In a lot of cases, they do not own the boats. A lot of ski shows have a relationship with a dealer, who floor plans the boats as a demo in exchange for a monthy fee. The dealer then sells the boat, much like a promo member would. I know of one big ski show who's costs have gone up less than $100 a month per boat in changing from the 196 to the 200. They get 6 new boats a year. Three at a time.

MS. Let's buy your 196 back from Shane. Then we can have a matching set of 196s on the lake.

There ya go, Phil! I'd even leave the stereo and 15" sub and stuff in it that I had to add since MS was too cheap to order it with a stereo originally! hehehe

Might still be true in Texas but up in Wisconsin the days of free boats are long gone. Dealers up here are struggling and while they offer service and deep discounts on boats very few can afford to put club boats on their floor plans. Most clubs purchase and own their boats with dealer support. Would a 200 cost $100 per month more than a 196? Impossible to quantify without knowing the details. What you could quantify is that a 200 is not going to pull the same as a 196, at least the one I drove and skied behind and that is a shame for all parties involved.

How are Centurians priced compared to CC? Carbon fiber construction sounds really expensive.

It has lines similar to the 196 in the second to last photo. This thing must be pretty light too, being carbon fiber. I'm pumped to see one in person.

I would like to see a head to head contest of the 2010 200 and the Supra Comp TS6M. Battle of the lead sleds.

LOL! I skied behind the re-issue Supra Comp last summer (circa mid '90's?). You actually have to duck under the rooster tail at 28 off:-)

Wasn't like that on the '86 I skied behind.

Good point, I remembered the '80's Supras skiing much better than that '97. The platform was always underwater too on the re-issue.
