A 196 is new to me (2006 196 SE)- opened the observer seat storage to slide a ski in and it caught on something - bent down to look in the compartment and the perfect pass control module and all the wiring was on the side wall. On my 99 Sport, all the wiring for the speed control was behind a removalble wall in front of the drivers feet - no chance of anything hitting it. . Wondering is this is the normal location for the control module and wiring on 196 ?

Yes. You can make a trip to Lowe's and grab some wire items that will help. They have a loop thing that goes around the wires, then screw it to the wall. Put a few of those on and cable tie the excess wires out of the way.Promo Team member
