    Dealer in Atlanta??

I guess this will be a respectful vent. Who the heck is the next dealer in Atlanta as Singleton has sold out to Malibu and Nautique has dropped them. I have bought two brand new Nautiques from them and am pretty upset about this. Singleton was very strong in CSI ratings and was a main reason I bought from them twice.

    New 2007 211 Team
    New 2009 210 Team

I have called correct craft and will touch base with the regional sales rep. The only likely candidate that I can see would be Atlanta Marine (supra/Moomba). I previously owned a Supra and did not like dealing with these guys for service.

Feel like a bastard here! Jeff delete this if you think it is out of line. I know there are other owners that have bought from Singleton here that do not know who their warranty dealer is.

Went to their new location today (Atlanta Inboard) not a Nautique in sight. Totally repping the Malibu lineup and Malibu alone. Apparently they were informed today that they were dropped. Seemed as if they had no intention of ever selling Nautiques once they made the move.

    Anyone know what's up??

I'll help you give them down the road, gsh762. Their customer service went to **** in a hand basket after David stop doing service. David is the man over there but their new service guy destroyed their customer service rep., plus he's a bald face liar. I know for a fact a few of those guys read this forum, so enjoy. I had a laundry list of items to have repaired when I dropped it off and they had the boat 7 months... when I got it back, the racks where MISSING, my brand new crest carpet was trashed with grease, that I've yet to be able to get out, and my platform was not fixed. Once I got the boat in the water several weeks later as I idled backwards from the ramp and turn 90 degrees to head out I went to give it gas and nothing happened. After a few phone calls to them and then getting a mechanic on the phone, I found the throttle cable wrapped up in the bottom of the boat to some hoses with zippy's.

After they send me the new skins for my platform I will wash my hands of them. My new dealer for warranty work will be TRC Yacht Sales in Chat. TN. They are about a hour and 10 mins from me, about the same as driving way up 985 from the north side of Atlanta.

I will say that the service went to **** after Mack left them. I have not had a worse feeling as I did today when I walked out of that "Malibu dealer"! The only other dealer for me is Singleton on Keowee if they even keep singleton at all. I think Singleton made a bold move on this one knowing that CC would not drop there other locations as they are a top five dealer. Saying that it says a lot that Singleton felt that in their biggest market a Malibu sells better.

They have retained all of the Atlanta Inboard "Malibu staff" to appeal to their new Malibu Family. There is a reason I did not by a Malibu last summer when I sold my 211 "Arrogent (sp) sales staff at Atlanta Inboard". We do not need you mentality there will be another schmuck walk in and buy that boat. Now Singleton wants to retain those people to rep them!

Guys, Ive been accosiated with Trc Yachtsales since before the picked up the cc line. The guys over at Trc are awesome to deal with and their mechanics are top notch. I'll personally vouch for the the owner, Craig Clark. If you're in the Atlanta area and need anything, call those guys and tell them you know Tom from chattwake. They take good care of me and my friends, discount our accesories and boards, etc... They really want to foster a strong presence in the SE Tennessee N Georgia area, and they are totally committed to Correct Craft.

Thanks, Tom. I can go ahead and guarantee you mine will go there for warranty / service (that I can't do myself) from now on. I'm in Cartersville, so their store is only an 1.5 hr drive max with traffic.

This theme of poor service seems to follow the boat industry, not sure why… I am willing to drive hours to get good service… I define this as first; do what you say you are going to do; second, have knowledgeable, trained employees that care as much about our boat as we do; and third, do the work in a timely fashion. I am willing to pay more for high quality service, heck, go to the Lexus dealer and see what good service is like and then create that for a Nautique … If anyone knows a place like that, please post up…

It is true that they will no longer be a Nautique dealer.

However, they will be able to service the Nautique that you bought there and get warranty work approved. At least this is what I was told in writing directly from correct craft.

                "Hi Dave,
Yes, singleton will be authorized to do all warranty and service to your boat. As far as plans to replace them, our Southeast Dealer Rep is working on that, but to find a company that meets our criteria is difficult to say the least. I have passed on your concerns to the dealer rep."

This upsets me maybe more than most since I don't even have a trailer with my boat since I live on Lake Lanier. I don't have the option to go to TRC or another dealer unless I go drop thousands on a trailer. However, the service department at Cobalt/Atl Inboard assured me they would continue to work on my boat.

As far as ATL Marine, they have always been great to me. Heidi was a pleasure to work with and it was one of the things I missed since selling my Supra. I doubt the would pick up CC since they have been a Supra/Moomba dealer for a long time..

I sure hope they find someone and hope that it is on Lake Lanier.

I have a friend at MarineMax and they are 'trying' to pick up CC. Not sure if it will happen.

i agree that even a brand dealer doesn't guarantee quality. i sold my mastercraft after multiple dealers continually screwed up service. the boat itself just had problems from new. i'd take it in for something and get it back and either not all the work was done, or something new came about. sometimes it took a month or longer to get it back. the final straw was when i had stereo work done at an mc dealer b/c they said they could do it. not only did i have wet sounds give them all sorts of info, but they didn't even fuse the system. i spent about 2000.00 for an awful install where there was grease in my boat, broken speaker stuff, etc. then i was treated like a pariah for wanting labor money back and hung up on by the service manager. i bought my nautique hoping to avoid these issues. former secc didn't check the trailer and i had a wheel fall off on day 2. they took care of me. they installed closed cooling and did something wrong so the coolant disappeared quickly. i had moved to bama by then. took it to the dealer in LA and thoroughly explained the issue and all they did was add coolant so when i got home thinking it was fixed, it wasn't. IMHO, not only nautique, but all companies need to do a better job training these dealers to properly work on these boats. just because you can service the pontoon boats and outboards you sell does not mean you can handle a pcm engine. i could drive 2 hours to the LA dealer, but im driving 3(one way) to another one. i have gotton to the point that i type up a service request detailing everything i want done and including the part numbers or bring the parts myself. there is a dealer in dothan, al. not sure how far that is from ATL. all mechanics should have to go to PCM school before being allowed to become a brand dealer.

Florida Inboards in Panama City is dedicated to inboard boats only. Truly an independent repair and service facility with deep rooted ties to Nautiques. I am PCM And Indmar trained Tech and dealer for both engine company's. I have a couple of Mobile AL customers. Roll Tide!!!

Sorry I do not work on Pontoons or clamp-on motors. Also all stereo work goes over to a dedicated Auto/marine Audio shop with a very good reputation.

For those who haven't been keeping up, the new CC dealer in Atlanta is Marine Max located on Holiday Road.

I have absolutely no experience with them so I have no idea what kind of service to expect. Hopefully they will have trailers that fit a 230 since I didn't order a trailer as my boat stays on Lanier year round.

                          Sean,
I just got a note from Correct Craft that you may be in the market for an Air Nautique.
We have just added the line and will be handling sales and service for GA. We are on Lake Lanier now but in the future we are looking at locations to extend out I-20 with an initial presence on Oconee or maybe Clarks Hill.
Please let me know if you need more information
