Acceleration time on new 210 with Acme 1235 Prop and a lot of weight?

Can anyone that has a newer style 210 with the acme 1235 prop and a bunch of weight in their boat tell me roughly how long it is taking their boat to get on plane? My buddy has a 2000 x-star with the 1235 prop and I have a 2008 210 with the 1235 prop. We put around 2300 lbs. or so in his boat and around 2800+ lbs in my boat and his boat jumps out of the water with that prop and mine still takes quite a while for it to plane out.

Granted, his is a little smaller boat and the weight is spread out more even, where mine is more rear heavy, but his literally feels like there is no weight in the boat and planes off probably in a 1/4 of the time it takes mine to plane off. I bought my 1235 prop refurbished and am just wanting to make sure it was refurbished correctly with the right pitch, etc. Thanks for any help!

My buddies Malibu 23LSV with Monsoon 340hp and 1235 prop takes about 30 seconds to reach a plane with 3000lbs and the wedge down. Once it gets there it's a great wake but it seems like forever. The 2000 Xstar is a very efficient planing hull based on an old prostar hull, not the best wakeboard boat. It's definitely going to plane faster than any modern wake making machine.

Where's his weight? 2800lbs is a lot for that boat.

A buddy of mine has an 02 XStar and we've had a difficult time gettting a good wake without a heavy bias toward the bow. Without most of the weight up front, we have to run 24.5+ to get both sides clean. So, not to hi-jack, but I'd appreciate any input you can give me re: weight for that hull...how you're doing it and how fast you're running to clean it up.

Ya, I guess with me having a bigger boat, more weight, and more rear-biased weighting, it may make that big of a difference.

Regarding weighting my buddies X-Star, we have one of the 1,000 lb. triangle sacs in the bow completely filled, a 500 lb. sac on each side of the engine in the rear and another 200-300 lbs of lead spread throughout the middle and bow of the boat. That boat definitely likes weight in front and we have it spread out about 50/50 front to back. We still find that the wake is plenty steep like this. I am honestly not sure what speed we are running for sure. His perfect pass doesn't work right now, so we run off of RPM's and just speed it up to when the wake looks clean. I usually ride at 80' around 3700-3800 RPMs with the 1235 prop and all of the weight in the boat. Hope that helps...

We don't run as much weight as you, but we're in a similar situation in that I have an 08 210 and my buddy has an 02 XStar. I run 1800-1900lbs with a pretty big rear bias and my buddy varies a lot because he's been playing with the weight configuration...anywhere from 1500-2300lbs with a front bias.

His boat gets up quicker and I think it's the location of the weight and the fact that my boat weighs around 800lbs more without any ballast. Mine is piggish enough getting on plane that I think I'll add some more weight to the front or remove some from the rear...or both. (I run the 1235)

Cannot tell you in time ,but our 2008 210 (sold) which had a 1235 prop and extra 3000 pounds over stock ballast would pull a wake boarder up with no problem or hesitation in fact I'm not sure if you would want to be pulled up any quicker . we also had the zr6 engine.
