    SN 200 fyi

I just wanted to make note of a few things about the 200 to help others with questions they may have once they
    receive there boat.
When I received my 200 on Friday I found out that you can't change the Linc system from Metric to Standard.
The software is designed in the menu to be able to be switched but it is not programed. Every NautiqueThe that is shipped international with have metric programed into the linc system. I live in Canada but I still prefer the Standard system when it comes to boat speed and skiiing. So it would be a good idea before you order the boat if you let CC know what you would like. Also the Air Temp on the linc will show up but no reading because it is not installed.
You will get water temp and depth readings. The fuse panel at the drivers feet (kicker plate) does not have a cover on it however it has four snaps in each corner. It looks totally unfinished and ugly. I will make a cover for it.
This weekend I will spend more time checking it out and will let you know if anything else should be mentioned.

How do you like the overall performance so far, compared to your 196?

It kinda crazy when my boat was delivered I went to wax the haul and noticed deep scratchs from the forklift the marina uses. Turns out the front skag was damaged as well so it must have slid forward on the forks and came down on the first skag other two were fine. So I was stressed over it, launched the boat anyways and found out my floating coures had a leak. Spent the rest of the day working on it. Come Sat it rained most of the day and Sunday i had to leave early!!!!! So I only skied once behind it at 22 off at 34mph. I was surprise how well it snapped me out of the water compared to the 196. It was windy out and there was little spay so that was great! As for the wake I really never got a good chance to compar it. Its more filled in from wake to wake and has a smoother entry. I can't wait to get into 35 and 38 to see how it is. I know its the best wake that can be made today and I have alot of faith in Andy Mapple and what he can do. I will post some pics and a futher update after this weekend however as for course skiing i will need to wait and repair it in time.

Cool, I'm looking forward to hearing future thoughts on it. I'm one of those 196 cool aid drinkers, and am hoping that CC takes early criticism from owners to make future tweaks. I did think the fit and finish was the best I've ever seen from my limited experience in one.

If you do end up getting the metric and you would like standard readings for the linc, its just a matter of
changing the software in the linc system.
When nautiques use to have two speedo's i use to get them to install on in MPH and one in KM/h !
Im sure soon they will make the linc work like it is designed to so you can just click on what you want.
On another note it would have been a much better system to have a touch screen. Since my iphone is touch
I keep forgetting and i touch the linc waiting for somthing to happen!!!

Yes, touch screen and full ZO integration would be sweet!
