I'm hearing rumors of a 200 in a V Drive configuration pulling Chris Parrish deep, deep shortline in testing. I heard the boat is sweet! Anyone else hear anything?

Anybody remember the Infinity ski boat? V-Drive and a wake that would rival the best out there. V-Drive in a 200 would depend on the location of the engine.2018 200 Team H6

I still don't know why everybody puts the gas tank in the rear of the boat. Why not, move the engine back a few inches and put the gas tank in front of it at the CG. Gas level would have less effect on wake: just my thought. Also, the hull running surface on boat is the beam of the boat, why not narrow the hull running surface and increase the beam well above the water line to; improve wake and increase space in the boat. I realize this will have an impact on turning, but ski boats really are made to run the course and straight lines.

Slalom better than a 211? Wakeboard better than a 211? Why would a Christian company like CC create marital problems like this?
I'm still waiting for the Tesla powered Nautique. Batteries are constant weight and can be separated and placed for optimum weight distribution. The engine is much smaller than a V8 and weighs about half (though engine + batts is about equal to V8 + fuel) so overall there are much better design options than a gas powered system.

This v-drive boat greatly interests me. I want a good cross over boat, but want something smaller than whats currently out there. I will be very excited to see this...
