I'm told CP ran into 41 and Rhoni Barton-Bischoff ran into 39 1/2 behind the 200vdrive.

Mattie makes a great point. I know numerous people/families who want a crossover boat, but not the size that most companies are offering. CP could run 41 off behind a 1987 Supra Comp with a headwind, so I don't put too much stake in that:-) The MC 214V has a sweet slalom wake for V, so I have know doubt a 200V will be that much better.'08 196LE (previous)

This is true. 200 v drive will appear in 2011 as we wave goodbye to the classic 216(not-V) and the legendary SV211. Now where the **** is that crying emoticon...?[color=blue][size=2][b]I Nautique, therefore I am.[/b][/size][/color]

About time!!
I have been trying to sell my 1992 ski desperately to get into a VTX for my length restricted lake. Perhaps I could just trade in and get on my way and not have to change out the stickers on my tow vehicle. I just hope N3 is my territory.

If this new 200v skis like I have heard it has.............it will sell like crazy. I know of two families ready to order a 2011 200, but are waiting to test the V first. Slalom wake + the room of a V drive= sales!!! In my opinion.2008 Super Air 210 Team

200 v drive
I would buy that boat in 10 - 15 yrs. (when it would be affordable) that would be an ideal boat for me... increase the height of the gunnels (not sure about proper marine lingo) to prevent water coming in boat........ would make it a little more multi-purpose. BU has 2 boats that this would compare to. yes more boat out of the water would add weight which would not please die hard skiers.... I love the saddle bag storage on the 200.

There is no way a V-drive will ever ski like a DD. Physics are just not there. That's not to say it might have a very good slalom wake. It won't drive like a DD and have the same wake as a DD. I am sure when this boat is out for the public consumption that it will be just like all the other v-drives that were touted as the DD killer. I hate to be negative, but I will believe it when I see it. I would love to be proven wrong because the V-drive lay out is superior to any DD.2012 200 Team 409
