Super Air 220 2008 Rattle

Hi,

I have a 2008 Super Air 220 that just started a rattle today that I can't figure out. When I put it in gear it starts a rattle that sounds like it's coming from underneath the boat. I checked the prop and there's no dings.

Any ideas?

I recently noticed the same thing on my '09 210. I can only hear it at idle speed. It's driving me crazy.

Could be the damper plate. If you search on damper, you should find some threads on it.

I had that problem and it drove me up the wall. The rattle sound went away as speed increased, but it was very irritating at and near idle speed.

sounds like there are many of us now experiencing this sound at idle.

Can anyone who gets this fixed confirm what it was please.....
