Hello,
I am having my first issue with my 2006 SAN 220, after almost 400 hours.
In the past I have done the fluid changes, but I recently moved and didn't have the space or time to change the fluids so I had the V-Drive, Transmission and Oil Changed. I took the boat out and noticed a thumping noise when I put the throttle in forward, no noise when in reverse or idling. I took the boat back to the dealer who serviced it and they took a look and said the V-Drive blew a gasket and my emergency light wasn't working so I wouldn't have known.
The reason for this post is the coincidence of the dealership servicing the V-Drive and it blowing a gasket(allegedly). Know I'm out a boat in the Summer while Walter V-Drive diagnosis the problem...they sent my V-Drive to Walter on 6/10 I was told the dealer would have the report this afternoon. Has anyone ever received a "loaner" boat for something under warranty? Thanks for any input.
