    FCT 4- uggh!

I didn't want to post on the other thread for the guy who was looking for pics of the FCT4 on a 210.
However, when I saw those pics of the new tower, I was extremely disappointed! That is the first tower on the CC line that would prompt me to opt out of a tower, and put an aftermarket version on the boat. I don't know what CC was thinking with that tower, is it the same version on the 230 as well?

Sorry, this is just my opinion.

Yeah you either like or you don't. It is a compromise and folded lower than any previous towers in the past.

For people who need the tower to fit into a shed didnt have much choice, as we have a new boat on order and had to option fct4 as fct3 sticks up to high for our garage so was little choice etc.

However went to order boat and told fct4 no longer being made and we are waiting on info of rumoured fct5 which will be the main tower and based on fct3 but will fold much lower.

Our boat is on order but have heard nothing more on fct5 and waiting on pictures etc.

    Cheers

It would be nice if Correct Craft could get their S*!t together and come up with a tower that they decide to keep around for more than 1 or 2 years. I am starting to wonder about their future. It seams like they can't keep a dealer in my area for more than 2 years too.

to me it seems as though they are either just trying to keep "updating" things to keep folks interested or can't figure things out. to me they have let their testing fall by the wayside. how in god's name did the zero off get out working the way it did and how did they not realize the rope gets caught on any boards on the top rack insert of the FCT3? I think they should make a classic closed bow slalom boat, a 22' wakeboard boat, and a 20.5' d.d. crossover boat and that's it.

Some of it has to do with the constantly changing market and desires of customers. The 2011 stuff is going to be more of the same evolution. It's always going to frustrate those people who bought a boat to have the latest and greatest when year after year significant changes are made. Boats tend to age quickly when many big changes happen every year. But, let's face it, if things can be improved upon shouldn't they be?

I was not a big fan of the new tower at first...............but after being in a 200 with it, it is sweet. When you are driving you don't even know it is there. Now the tower on my 206 looks dated to me.
