Mystrey Button?

Sorry I know this has been asked here before. I looked in the archives and count find anything, so Ill ask again.

I was told that this Up and Down button on the Key pad was a switch that made the back seet on some special 01-02 Ski Nautiques or rear engine cover/hatch open & close on some SAN's. Is this true? I know Jeff has a Pop Up transome light, does it uses this button or the standard ancor light switch??

Jeff might you know from the wiering diagrams what wires make this switch work??

I thought it was for the engine cover lift on earlier SANs / Super Sports.

I also thought they stopped supporting it.

Here's the old thread. I have no idea why the search couldn't find the thread. It wouldn't work for me either. I am rebuilding the search index in the database to see if that fixes the problem.

Anyway....

Here's what Frost had to say about those buttons in the earlier post

The up and down keys on the pad were first for the SSPN hatch lid, when that went away it was used for the SN stern seat. The wires for that function remained in the boat (SN) until 02 (I think?)

The key pad is wired for all options that can be ordered from CC, if you have a heater installed it would be wired to the heater button because it has the 4 wires needed for the heater... Red = High, Orange = Med. Yellow = Low, Black = Ground

All wiring is found behind the kickboard of the drivers seat until 2003, now all boats come pre-wired for every option other than the ballast pump system.

Orange with black tracer is pin 21 and orange is pin 11 in 40-pin plug. See the 2001 main harness in the download section

In my 2000 SN it was for the rear storage locker. It raises and lowers like a giuiletine behind the back seats.

I thought the heater was wired to a separte button that toggles through low med high off ?

The heater is wired to the breaker box (PME) and the key pad holds the switch that toggles through the speeds. What I ment by the heater thing is all the buttons on the key pad have a function and have wires for them, even if you do not have the options installed
