Not with slalom size wakes, but I'd be careful if I was idling though wakeboard size wakes with a 196 or 200.

i know we have no idea of knowing yet, but wouldn't this bring the assumption that the 200 d.d. will become a closed a bow only?

I can't imagine. I see there still being a market for a roomy DD, especially if it skis like the CB.

I thought you could still get the FCT3 on the 200V.

I'm not sold on the FCT5 yet. I'll have to get used to it I guess for 2011 when I get a new 230.

From a functional standpoint, the new Flight Control Tower (it will not be publicly known as the FCT5) is really nice. As always, looks are personal preference. It is similar to the FCT3 design, but not an exact copy. Speaker mounts, bimini/Z5 mounts, board rack mounts, etc. are all redesigned.

Jeff, is that redisgned "FCT5" for the DD 200s too? From what I've seen and heard, the way it's currently mounted on the 200 is too far back and doesn't let the line cut out more than about 45 degrees. Clearly a major problem for course.

I am pretty sure the new Flight Control Tower will be available on the 216v, 226, 210, and 230. I have not heard about the tower issue on the DD 200.

This all sounds great, but ... why are they calling it the Sport 200? It should be the Super Sport 200. If they call it the Sport 200, then I will have to put in an asterisk every time I tell someone the rule of thumb with CC's that "Sport" = d-drive and "Super Sport" = v-drive!

You cannot ski shortline on the SN 200 with a tower on it. It's mounted way too far back and the rope hits it. Probably the biggest flaw on the 200 besides the high RPM's.

2. Are they eliminating the 216 DD and 216V (I can't imagine they would eliminate the 216V. I hope they keep the 216 DD
3. what is the WT?
4. Will the 211 SE be going away?

I still can't get skiing behind a v drive. Just doesn't feel right.
