I think the speaker manufacturers might want to redesign their mounts to take full advantage of this new tower's features. I doubt there will be any fitment issues though.

just talked to an old friend with some contacts and he's seen the boat and said it is amazing and has heard from those who rode it that is "the best"

Quick question for the people who have seen it or those who know people that have, is it going to have a fiberglass liner with snapin carpet like the SANs, or the carpet glued to the floor like the 200s?

I prefer the snap in, anyone that has owned both and had to clean both probably will agree.

Snap-in carpet is the way to go, especially in a boat that will likely get a lot of 'family' use with bunches of kids rather than mostly serious skiers who may dry off better before walking through the boat. I hope they fix this in the 200v. Hope the walk-thru is similar to the 211 (along the side, sunk a bit). I really like people being able to get in/out at docks without stepping on vinyl (and the girls all like the larger cushioned area to lay down).

unfortunately (from a money point of view) this is exactly what it would take for me to upgrade mine. I was excited about the 216v because I thought it was going to ski good, but was mistaken. This sounds like what I've mentally planned as THE boat for my family.

Freeboard

This too has been addressed!

Can you explain that a little more? I have a 211 and just assumed it has more freeboard than either the 196 or the 200 DD.

Is the freeboard on the Sport Nautique 200 going to be greater than the current 200 DD and/or closer to the 211?

The hull is very similar to the DD 200. The deck is not.

When is the model change/ release? The 9th?? Any gelcoat design or color changes coming for the 200? They should bring back the 2000 Ski Nautique ''N'' gelcoat stripe.

There are several new colors available on all models, and some nice new graphics for most models as well.
