    Board rack fitment Q

I have tower that measures 2,1/8 in diameter. I can't find same diameter board racks, they are sold either 2 or 2,1/4 in. Should I get 2,1/4 and fit rubber insert. Whould that fit properly without loose.

    solution

It would be wiser to get the 2" and find a machine shop that could mill them out to fit provided there was enough material to work with. It would not take much to work to fit the 2and1/8" tower. I did it with a board rack for my extended pylon. Fortunately I knew someone with a machine shop in their garage that was interested in doing it and didn't charge me a lot. You might find a shop interested in doing it without gouging you for the work.

I'm leaning towards 2,1/4 rack, and another 1/8 I will try to stuff with rubber insert that comes with rack. BTW its FCT from 2007 210 that comes with spinner racks or flight clips. First one are expensive the other ones have problem with closed toe bindings that's why I decided to go aftermarket. I will post some pics once I get them.
