I just got a 2009 230TE with the 343. I have had a lil extra weight, and a boat full of people - and the acceleration is fine for me. I got it brand new, with tandem trailer (all options) for 63K. A good deal I thought. I don't need the Linc system.
Good luck with your 2011! Would like to see the blue for 2011. I would recommend Shadow Casters for U/W lighting - the factory ones are not that bright.

Like board racks, leaning posts for both sides, and a hand full of other minor things that were not included in the team edition last year.

The build sheet on the boat was 111k and I paid 78,600 for the boat and he gave me a galvanized trailer for cost which was around $4600.00. It has the new logo which is awesome if you haven't seen it. Went with the new blue color for 2011 which looks sick on the boat. Also the new foam decking on the walk through area and rear platform has been updated to a faux teak in a titanium or tan color for 2011.

The best thing is that they had an existing order for a 226 with a delivery date of August 10th. The change date was last week but due to the holidays they extended it for him to today so he was able to change it to the boat I want and I only have to wait 5 weeks since the boat was already in cue.

I almost forgot to mention it has the 409 6.0L

He also said he would allow me to sell my boat through his store at no charge and treat it like a trade in so I will save a couple thousand on taxes as well. One of the first good experiences I have had purchasing anything. This guy seems more interested in repeat business than he does with making a killing on every deal.
Awesome! Post pics when you get it!

Shag, sounds like you got a great deal on that 2009. To late for the lights, they are already in the build but thanks for the info.

Wake_fun, I will definitely post pics when I get the boat.

You can add the lights later. Check out my post I just put up with the pics. I had a bar fab'd up, then did the install myself, sort of followed Grant's lead. I did have to upgrade the breaker in the PME to 15 amps though.

          Enjoy!

Sounds like you got a great deal! How do you like that new tower though? It's going to have to grow on me. Did you color match the tower?

Im taking a chance with the tower. Haven't really seen the new ones on a boat. I have heard they look strange. I have to say when the 3 came out I didn't like it either. In fact without the z5 rack I still think it looks weird.

I didnt color match it. I made the topstripe black so that the colors would still look good with the black tower. Also did the piping black on the seats with the primary seat color being the blue.

Is it worth the extra 9k for the motor and upgrades. Keep in mind I will have to put racks on the 2010 which will be $1200 at-least for the spinner racks. Plus I will have to wait 5 or 6 weeks minimum. I will transfer my tower speakers from my current boat so no expense there.

I am really struggling between these two options.
If you chose the 2010, don't buy the factory racks, I'll point you in the right direction for spinner racks far less expensive and operate better.

Congratulations on the boat..... I am equally as excited as my 210 is two weeks away from completion! This may seem out of sort but where can I find info on the 2011 model? My dealer has no info. I have seen the graphic but not the new tower - its killing me!

                    Wet Sounds Pro 80s

So it turns out my current tower speakers will not fit on the tower. I am looking for something to take thier place and am thinking the Pro 80s are the way to go. Has anyone ever heard them on a boat and is two enough. The few people that I have talked to said that just two would be plenty but I currently am running the skylon 450s and they are awesome. I have attached pictures in case you have not seen the 450s. Will I be dissapointed with the 80s after having the 450s assuming I power them correctly?

nzboarder... My dealer just had the option list and a color chart for the 2011s. No actuall pictures other than one on a dealer disk that he got from Nautique. The options are pretty much the same the difference is now many of them are standard on the team package instead of an upgrade.

many others chime in on this, but you will not be disappointed. louded, clearest sounding speakers i've ever heard on a boat and they compare with very high end car installs. if you can afford it go with the a pair of 485's run off a syn-4 amp. you obviously don't mind a full tower so you'd have the throw and some more punch over your head. definitely get a 420eq or something to at least separate your tower volume from the cabin or you'll go deaf after a while. but yes, two 80's would be plenty to make you happy. call david at earmark marine and he will help you make the best decision and you get a discount because they are a site sponsor.

The 485s wont fit on the 2011 tower. I called Roswell and they said they wont fit because they are two wide. I called David last week left a message and never heard back. I bought my Polk's and ws420 from him a while back. I have a local guy that is offering me a pretty good deal but I wanted to check with David anyway. I may try him again this week but it would have to be a pretty good deal to not by local. I like the simplicity of warranty issues etc. when dealing with local companies. Especially with items that are heavy and costly to ship.

I have 2 Pro 60's on my '09 210. I went with the 60's because they are a little smaller so I don't hit my head as much. Riders have no problem hearing them, you won't be disappointed.
