I have a 2001 SAN that has the factory tanks in the rear. I had previously replaced the the stock ones (750 GPH) with 1200 GPH ones. Now, I want to replace all the ballast hoses with newer hoses (since the older, plastic ones have been known to have issues.) Since I will be replacing all the hoses, I wanted to change the routing where the water discharged from the side of the boat, so I can empty while underway.
Attached is a proposed diagram. I am looking for comments to such a setup. I already own two of the Rule 1200 gph aerator pumps, so I would like to use those. I want to use one pump to fill and one pump to empty. Since factory tanks only have one inlet (I believe,) I am not sure I have the routing correct. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.
