    New SV211 owner

    Hey folks,

Picked up my new (to me) '06 SV211 last week. Drove to Orlando to bring her back to Texas. Love the boat, love Nautiques. There aren't many around my hometown, and I looked at a lot of other brands. But I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on anything else.

My boat was a consignment from a CC dealer, and I'm still on the fence as to exactly how unhappy I ended up with them. I'd ask for opinions on anyone's experience with the particular outfit, but the deal is done and I'm a long way from them now. I know I have a good dealer to work with closer to home, and from what I've read here the site sponsors are a great bunch. Plus I spent last weekend on the lake and it definitely put the fun back in my buying experience.

Lots of great info here. I'm a DIY'er, which mostly involves following other's direction since its so much more intelligent than my feable logic. Keep up the good work!

Ron, did you used to live in Jax, FL? Maybe it's just a coincidence but I know a Ron Cox who has since moved to Texas. Sorry for the hijack...

What dealer did you use in Central Florida? I live local and want to avoid any future problems. Thanks

Cobra - No Jackson for me. Been in Texas all my life.

Thompson - The dealer was Nautiques of Orlando. I'm not bashing them so much as I think we just had different opinions on things (such as the term "like new"). If you are in Orlando, your situation would be much different than mine. You can look before you drive for 22 hrs. to buy. Something that really stuck with me was when the salesman told me the tread plates I wanted replaced were "$400.00 a pair". I looked them up and they MSRP from CC for $48.00. Maybe I misunderstood, but he made a big deal about a the part. Plus my boat was a consignment, so if you dealt with something they had in stock or ordered, things would be different as well. They have alot of nice boats, but I'll let you make up your own mind.

Are these the same folks that used to be Southeast CC?

            Georges -

I couldn't say about who they used to be. Based on the memorabilia in their store they have had their current name for a while.

Congrats and welcome! Go to Nautiqueparts.com if you need parts. White Lake Marine will set you up! They will bend over backwards for you - they've come through for me on some specialized stuff. I can't brag them up enough. Enjoy that boat and get some pictures to us!

I'm pretty sure the answer to this question is no. I believe that the owner of Southeast CC was a Meloon and now sells Mastercrafts.
