Hi just bent our prop [645] on our new 2008 226. love the boat cant complain about the prop but im new at this wake boarding and surfing[we have kids 25 and older who know more about these sports but not mechanical like i am. Acme suggested the 1273 for our weight and elevation. Any comments? if this prop is better the 645 will become the backup after repair

Acme is very good at determining which prop you will need.
I would, however, suggest that you purchase it through Delta Props. They are a site sponsor here, and they give our members a 20% discount on acme props!!

I tried one on my 330EX and it didn't get up to full RPM so I dropped back down to the flatter 1235, same prop less cup so it spins a bit more up top. My understanding is that the 1273 has the additional cup so it does not over-rev on a ZR6?

now im unsure - maybe 1235
thanks for the replys. when i talked to the acme guy he discribed the 645 like 4th gear 1235 like 3rd gear and 1273 in the middle saying i would lose a little speed with the 1235 that doesnt bother mei dont care if im the fastest boat on the lake[a harley riding friend said a ninga bike pulled up next to him and wanted to race the harley rider replied okay lets see who can pickup chicks the fastest, kind of how i think about my nautique ] i wish someone with the same boat could reply the 226 is a big boat and might respond differently to the 1273?
