Nautique decided to do away with a good selling boat and switch people to the new 200 v drive that is coming out.Comment

The 211 was a great boat for CC. The sad part for the family wanting a CC is that the 211 was expensive but not to the point of out of being so high that for a 20 ft boat people will not buy it. I would assume that the 200 VD will be in the 70k range ,and even though the first year they will sell a lot, when you get to that price I would think many people will not buy it like they did the 211. I could be wrong just seems like these boats just keep more expensive and I wonder how long they will continue to find those with the means and the desire to pay for them. Again the 211 is a good boat that could be purchased for much less money.Comment

What's the difference between a Sport Nautique 200 and a Sport Nautique besides the 11K MSRP difference? Is one direct drive and the other v-drive?Comment

Well I for one really love my 2005 SV-211 Team and have no desire at all to trade it for anything on the market.Life is Short, Live it!

I also have an 05 211, which fits our families needs perfectly. There is no boat like it, not sure why they would discontinue the 211 model.Comment

And there's another question: what does the SV signify? I love my 211, don't know where the SV comes from.
However, if the Sport 200 is everything they claim, I'll be green with envy until I get oneComment

Leave it to the marketing guys to kill off a good boat that was well priced.
The 211 never had the very best ski wake or board wake because it was a compromise. That said, when set up properly, it's got a pretty **** good ski and board wake that's just fine for 90% of the skiers/riders out there (including me). I love having the ability to go back and forth with the flick of a lever. It's a little smallish on the inside, but the 200 will have the same issues.
