    Question about EZ loader trailer

I was wondering if anyone has "the Vault" hubs on there ez loader or any other trailer. My concern is there is a bit of play in the bearings. Now from what I recall on the old style there should be no play at all. Now before I grab a big screw driver and a hammer and try and tear it apart. How does this system work? is there a nut to tighten the hub onto the axle?

Unfortunately my hubs are oil bath. I did check for play and had none. For what its worth; I was told by the dealer to not touch the hubs under any circumstance (both Vault and Oil Bath), only let a certified person work on them. I would call your nearest dealer and have them look at it if you suspect there is a problem. Better safe than sorry.

I phoned around and everyone told me to call someone else. I finally got in contact with the company that makes these hubs and spoke with a warranty rep and he claims I just have to knock the big caps off, tighten it up like a normal hub and re assemble. So I guess thats what I'lll Do.

Wow that sounds easy. I am surprised that no-one would even look at it. Did you happen to ask the company how one is to get their product serviced?
