In the OHMC, are you sure that is letter "O" or is it a zero "0" ??

Is the country of origin on the tire?
DOT code 0H is for the TRIANGLE TIRE CO., LTD. plant in Weihai, China.

There is no OH code. There is an MC code for a Goodyear plant in Danville, Virginia but the plant code is supposed to be the FIRST two letters after DOT. The subsequent letters are mfg-chosen codes for molds, etc.

I'm thinking this is your tire in the Triangle form:

Item 3 on this thread shows someone with similar experience:

Somewhere on the NHTSA site, there is a web form you can fill out to report tire failure....they track them.

I lost two tires last year as well.

My tire guy told me to replace every 4-5 years.

Trailer tires often times do not show any sign of wear. If one goes the others will most likely follow.

I was also told to inflate 10% above max posted psi if you tow faster than 55 mph.

        Tire Pressure

Need to be careful with tire pressure. On Trailer tires there is a air pressure amount for the weight on the tire - they gave me a pressure/weight matrix . My new tires (Maxxis Load Rating E) have a Max pressure of 80 lbs. The boat + trailer weight is 3600 or 1800 per tire. Given that weight (plus gas....) the proper air pressure is closer to 45 lbs. I set them at 55 lbs. But 80 lbs is for 2850 lbs per tire

My friends are always saying, "I think you need some air in that tire." I check them every couple of weeks and keep them at 49-50psi. The max rating on them is 50psi (Carlisle). I've had them since 2007, when I bought the boat. Is the date of the tire shown by week, then year?
