    Hydrogate lever moves

On my 200 the Hydrogate will move after awhile from all the way forward to back over an inch or so.
Im not sure if its the waves causing it or the pressure of the water on the plate. Does anyone else have
to keep pushing theres forward? On my boat lift i can see it does move the plate with that little movement but not alot.
Does anyone know if it can be tightened up so i don't have to worry about making sure it is all the way forward before i ski?

    hydrogate

I have a SAN 220 2006, and my hydrogate was doing the same thing...you can tighten the gate and the handle if they get loose, I've had to tighten both. your dealer should do this at no charge.

there should be a couple of screws on the actual hydrogate itself slides up and down on at the rear of the boat. barely tighten those to create more friction, and it should stay in place..

Mine will find itself trying to travel but I found a rubber gromett that will plug into the groove and holds the handle in the slalom position. it is good when they are that free it meens that their are not any binds in the system.

Its something more to be concerned about before i ski. It would be cool if the lever would go back to Slalom automatically when the boat is turned off as defaut positon. I mostly slalom ski but sometimes a family member will take someone wakeboarding and later take me for a ski. Im not sure if it is really practical to have it be adjustable.
I know for slalom you want it totally forward and for wakeboarding you want it totally back but do trick skiers care?
I would think they would be right with the boarders on that!
