Cleaning crest carpet

We have the Crest Carpet on our 220 (love it) we ride on lake norman nc and our lake is very clean but the bottom and shore is 90% red clay . We have tried many products to try and get the pink out of our carpet . We just tried Oxyclean last week and it really worked great ( not perfect ) but WAY WAY cleaner. Worked pretty well for us :-) JUST FYI

Before I ever put the CC in ours I did three rounds of Scotchgard. What I did was vacuum the carpet and then brushed it one direction, applied the Scotchgard, brushed it the opposite direction and applied Scotchgard again; I did this three times letting it dry after every round. Three day is what it took because I wasn't using the boat that week when I received the carpet so I let it sit in the sun and did the apps.

I have got a few spots on it and it cleans right up. One time we got blood on it from a cut, it didn't want to come out so I put bleach on a tooth brush and rubbed it out.

Carpet cleaning is a big issue in every house . Heres an advice that might come in hand.
Chocolate Stain Removal from Carpet

Anyone who has ever had to remove carpet stains will appreciate this tip. If you have chocolate or coffee stains on carpet, dab with straight vinegar. That's all it takes. Blot until the stain is removed and blot again with a damp sponge or cloth to rinse. If the smell of vinegar isn't for you, try a mild else that dishwashing liquid for cleaning carpet stains. Pour some onto a clean cloth and blot until the stain is lifted.
