    Zero Off in 200

With the bad luck I have had with my transmisson my Zero Off has never worked right. I have two problems.

I have mapped my course and setup my skiers profiles usually with C1 or C2 pull. I select one of the skiers profiles and they ski and it works fine but when I turn the boat off and back on again it defaults to B3 pull every time!!! It will keep the speed and course name but thats it. One member on here told me his does the same thing and the other 200's he has been in loose there settings as well. I spoke to Zero Off and they claim it should remember its setting. Can anyone else that has a 200 let me know if theres looses its settings when shutting the engine off.

The second main problem is trying to put my settings in. It seems the select key is not working. Im able to
move around the menus with the up/down/menu buttons but when I select anything it won't change. Sometimes it
will work but most of the time it won't. I have to turn off the unit and turn it back on a number of times.

    Wired Wrong

Zero Off has checked into this and feel that CC has wired the Zero Off incorrect. They suggest rewireing the
VBat wire directly to the battery source will fix this.
I also ski at a club that uses a Malibu ski boat and it saves its setting on shut down with no problem.
If anyone knows an easy way to do this please let me know!

Call ZO and see if they can send you a new down load or have the dealer download a new program . It could be the program did not take or an error occurred. The second problem I would take it to the dealer and have them look at it and rewire the ZO if necessary or at the least call the factory. You might have a faulty head unit if the select button is not working. For the money the boat cost I would be on the dealers *** like white on rice to get it fixed. I have a 200 and I have not had any problems at all nor has many of my team members.

I have the program and cable so I will program this weekend to see what happens. The dealer has ordered me a new
head unit. Another member on here has mentioned to me that his 200 will not save the settings just like mine as well as another 200 he has been in. If yours does save the settings maybe just some of the boats are wired wrong.
CC is looking into it and will call me back with the fix.

          solution

Just in-case anyone else has a bad head unit here is what came of it. I did reprogram the unit but it continued to not
work half the time. Such as freezing or not taking a selection. The gauge was replace and that solved that problem however it still looses its settings so it is wired incorrect from what I have been told. Anyways this boat won't be back on my lake after this year!

When you say you are turning the boat off and back on, are you talking about with the key/keypad or via the master power switch. At least on the Team, with the master power switch, CC powers the ZO from the switched side of that power switch and not the battery side. ZO doesn't keep user settings in NVRAM, only course setting. So like on our 2011, when we power the boat off at the master power switch, we have to reset things like wait time, pull characteristic, etc.

When you turn the boat off via the keypad by pushing it twice and then start the boat up the settings are defaulted to B3 if you last skied at C1 or any other pull for example.
Our club also uses a Malibu ski boat with the Zero Off and it keeps the settings on shut down.
Now if you use the masterswitch on the SN I would not expect it to save any settings.
I think its just a wiring issue from what I was told. Its not a big deal but on my personal boat I do most of the skiing so it would be nice just to fire it back up for another set and not have to touch anything!
I have to move the cursor to the pull and change that everytime. The speed and course seems to stay or I have to go to select the saved skier.
