    surf wake

i have 04 SAN, it turns to the passenger side when in reverse, which side should i be filling when i want to surf. I have been filling up the port side and have everyone shift to that side, since the seats are all there. Other tanks are empty, we surf about a foot back is the sweet spot,, help,

the "proper" side is the starboard side. it's going to have the cleanest wave. i don't do it much, but tomorrow i'm going to try it with starboard tank full, wedge on top of that, belly full, 650 in the bow, and 4 people on the starboard side in the back. if it's not good enough i'll try another wedge on the floor along the starboard side.

You want to ride toeside so depends on whether you're regular or goofy (regular=port, goofy=starboard). With that said, your SAN will definitely produce a better starboard wake. I'm regular so I've tried everything I can to get the same wake on the port as I do on the starboard for my goofy buddies, but to no avail. I can get it clean, but just won't compare. Goofy/Starboard on your boat is by far the best combo.

...and hold a slight right turn to give the wake some lip.

Weight in the bow pushed the sweet spot away from the swim step
